I was down in the dumps, struggling with my thoughts,
Sitting on a chair, in front of a wall,
When I decided to live my wooden hut,
To go out, for a walk.
I crossed the forest, to go by the city,
I wanted to feel the fresh air of the sea,

Something I didn’t do, for a quite long time.
The first step I made over the concrete,
I saw a hobo holding on his hat,
I looked at my pocket, I had 20 pennies,

I went forward down the main boulevard,
Some people were clung to the glasses’ shop,
It reminds me this morning the fly I nearly shot,
I opened the window and let it be hot.
I smiled to some girls but they all frowned their faces,
Maybe they don’t like, my beard or my wellies,
It’s not my fault if I only met women,
I’m a polite guy, I like to share my smile.
I finally reached the sea, when I remembered,
The lovers like to spend the sunset together,
I was disgusted, and I felt so alone,
I went back to my woods, to met … my hut.
